nothing goes better with panda express than a tasty trashy treat. Mall treats vary greatly in quality so here goes....
Auntie Anne's Pretzels: NOT A TREAT. These things just kinda blow. Pretzels are not treats and you can not polish a turd, sorry.
Cinnamonster!!! This is treat overload for me...but i love it. I used to go crazy on these.
Full disclosure: I had about one per month for a least a year somewhere between 2000 - 2001. A friend of mine used to dread going to the mall with me because I would spaz out so bad after having one of these gooey and grand concoctions. I love these fuckin things but they are kind of trashy. So fun.
Orange Julius is so not a treat. Orange fuzzy drink from hell. Were these in Fast Times? They just bit and I never got it. The logo from the store is kind of classic but what was even in those things? They sucked.
Mrs. Fields....obviously a treat but nothing overly spectacular here. Good cookies for sure.
Great American Cookie Co. This is an ultimate treat center. The double doozie is insane. The cookie birthday cakes seemed like such an out of reach spectacle. The cream cheese brownie? So good.
Cookies with Icing on them!!! What a great innovation.
Full Disclosure: My mom worked at a Walden Books right across from a Great American Cookie Co. These were my preferred mall treats during my middle school years. I've had so many double doozies....lord help me.
