Soft Baked, Chewy

THESE ARE NOT TREATS. Cookies should not be chewy, that's gross. They should either be fresh and soft from the oven or crispy.

A major company can not do soft baked. They can't undercook their cookies, which is the only true way to get a soft bake, because they would fall apart and the chips would be melty. So I think what they do is some chemical process that is akin to dry cleaning to keep the cookies soft.

it doesn't even taste good. There is a consistency to the softness that is limp and wan. Plus, these shits are usually flavorless.

I remember when Chips Ahoy first came out with Soft Baked...switched from the blue bag to the red bag........I pretended to like them when i was little but i was wrong. They suck. The crispy ones are far superior.

Oh wow! I am overjoyed at finding this rad blog. It is weird because I set out googling: "foot warts + treat or not to treat." Then I played around with some variations, as I always do and I found this. Can I just say how much I agree about the chewy grossness? Seriously. And for store bought cookies, the hard, crunchy Chips Ahoy are just fine.

I am also sensitive to sugar and experience very high highs and very high lows. I can feel the sugar reach my brain; hear it squishing through my veins. Do you ever get that sensation?

Have you tried the chocolate chip sandwich cookies at 'Wichcraft? Pretty nice.

I hear you Chippy. Wichcraft is a treat center for sure. (Tho I confess to not having the specific treat you mentioned...I will have it soon) Good luck with those foot warts!
